What you send through the contact form: your name, email, role and request. For clients: contact details and engagement records and, where we grant access to our tools, keys and usage logs.

Purpose

Replying to your request. Delivering, securing and billing our work.

Basis

Your request. The contract with clients.

Processors

Our hosting provider, which runs this site and its form, and the infrastructure providers that run our systems. Your data is never sold.

Location

United States.

Retention

Contact requests: until the request is closed. Client data: for the length of the engagement, then as long as the law requires.

Cookies

No advertising cookies and nothing that tracks you across sites. Our hosting provider may set technical cookies needed to deliver pages and the contact form. You can block cookies in your browser; the site still works.

People who appear in public data

Scope

Our work covers companies, organisations and the people connected to them through a professional or public role. If you are one of those people, this section is for you.

Data

Information already published about you in public sources: company registries, official gazettes, court decisions, filings, press, public posts and web archives. We do not collect anything that is not public.

Purpose

Research and analysis of organisations, their governance and the people connected to them, for our clients and through our tools.

Basis

Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): the interest of our clients and the public in knowing who is behind organisations and what was publicly said, balanced against your rights.

Sensitive data

We do not seek data about health, religion, sexual orientation or other special categories. Where it appears in a public source, it is not used, unless you made it manifestly public yourself.

Recipients

The clients we work for, and the users of our tools, bound by our Terms of Service.

Retention

Reviewed at least once a year. Removed when no longer needed for the purpose above.

Your rights

Access, correction, erasure, restriction, and objection to processing. See Data requests for how to ask. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country.
